A big congratulation to Jayne and the Pre-school Eco committee who have received their Eco-Schools Silver Award. Staff and children have been busy recycling, litter picking and getting parents involved in joining the committee. Today the whole nursery took part in the Eco-Schools One Planet Picnic so the children could learn about food and wastage. With staff and children's hard work and more parental involvement, over the next year we will aim to achieve our green flag.
With Christmas not far away, Lauriston staff have started planning their Christmas Fayre. This will take place on Saturday 3rd December. We have a variety of stalls confirmed but we are looking for more. Tables are £20 each and all money raised will be donated to the Neo-natal Ward in Kirkcaldy.
A massive well done to all the Lauriston staff for achieving 5's during their SCSWIS inspection this week. We are very proud of our team and nursery, and with the help of parents and children let’s aim for 6's next time.
