PHILOSOPHY
Our aims:
· To provide a safe, stimulating, caring and nurturing environment for all children.
· To follow the ‘Birth to Three’ curriculum and the ‘Curriculum for Excellence’ ensuring that every child receives the highest standards in care and education.
· To work in partnership with parents and carers involving them in all aspects of the service.
· To work in partnership with the SCSWIS, Education Department and HM Inspectors to continually monitor and develop the service we offer.
Staff
Staff are recruited following the Safe Recruitment Guidance implemented by The Scottish Commission for the Regulation of Care. Staff are carefully selected for their ability to provide a loving, caring environment for children to develop and flourish in those very important early years. The nursery is run on a daily basis by a Manager, Assistant Manager, Senior Nursery Nurses, Nursery Nurses and Nursery Assistants, all have the relevant qualifications to their post and all will be working towards gaining further qualifications. We are committed to Continual Professional Development.
